Bianca DeForest, JD
Founder & Head of School — Florida Coastal Prep School
Bianca R. DeForest is a United States Air Force Judge Advocate General (JAG) Major, attorney,
and lifelong entrepreneur. She holds a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky
College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Finance with Honors from UCF's Burnett Honors College —
admitted to the Kentucky Bar in 2016, the same year she was commissioned as a USAF officer.
As a JAG officer, Bianca has counseled military personnel on criminal law, contracts, employment
law, and the Law of Armed Conflict. She has tried cases. She has advised commanders. She has
negotiated on behalf of the United States Air Force. That background is exactly why she leads
this school — the legal and business education she delivers here comes from someone who has
lived it at the highest level.
As a Business Law instructor at Lighthouse Christian College and a builder of her own ventures,
Bianca understands what it takes to compete beyond the court. Her job as Head of School is to
make sure every student graduates not just with a diploma, but with the tools — NIL knowledge,
contract literacy, business fundamentals, and the confidence to use all of it. She is also
fluent in Spanish, which extends FCPS's reach to families across the Americas.
Also serves as Business Law Faculty at Lighthouse Christian College —
bringing the same real-world legal and entrepreneurship education to college students
that she now brings to FCPS.
